It is said that ‘water is life’. However metaphoric that phrase is, water indeed is life! We are advised to take lots of water each day, for a healthy life. Drinking the water immediately after waking up, has been proven to be more beneficial, especially in fighting diseases. This is how:

There are a lot of studies which have proven that drinking water on an empty stomach, immediately after waking up, has several benefits. This treatment will help in fighting many serious diseases. Drinking water on empty stomach may help you in the treatment of body aches, asthma, blood fat, headache, heart system, epilepsy, accelerated heart rate, kidney disease and urinary tract, TB, bronchitis, vomiting, meningitis, diarrhea, diabetes, gastritis, piles, constipation, diseases of the uterus, diseases of the ear, nose and throat, menstrual disorders and eye disorders.

Mode of treatment:

Right after you wake up and before brushing your teeth, drink 640 ml (21.64 oz) of water for a short period of time. Then, wash your teeth and do not eat in the next 45 minutes. After 45 minutes you can normally eat and drink. Make a 2 hours pause between the meals or snacks. Those that are old and sick and unable to drink 4 glasses on an empty stomach, can begin with drinking water as much as they can, and then each and every day increase the amount until they reach the required 640ml.
